Memory Support Unit Activity Volunteer
Nb - proof of flu vaccination is required for all volunteers
Volunteers must be up to date with COVID vaccinations, ie double vaccinated plus booster
10 volunteers required to assist residents with conversation and other activities of interest
Days: Monday to Friday (negotiable) - 9:30 am to 3:00
Duties:
Participate / assist with lifestyle activities – e.g. walking groups, art, craft, bingo, board games, gardening, reading, music, group social functions and 1:1 in Memory Support Unit
• Comfortable interacting with residents - great listening and conversation skills, able to make people feel good about themselves and put a smile on their faces
Additional Requirements:
• Must be prepared to undertake mandatory training as required including wheelchair training (no lift policy)
• Adhere to WHS requirements, Helping Hand procedure & policies
• Must have or be willing to apply for a National Police Clearance (no cost)
