Reintegration Support
Provide practical transport support and role modeling to prisoners and community based offenders to attend job interviews, external study, shopping and reintegration activities (eg taking to Housing SA, Centrelink appointments and to banking institutions), rehabilitation programs, supervision appointments & assist families with prison visits, etc. May be required to accompany children in to prisons for visits.
Areas include: Northfield; Salisbury; Elizabeth; Port Adelaide (please contact for other areas)
Days and times are based on requests, as and when needed
Government vehicle provided. Travel expenses reimbursed if own vehicle used.
Requirements:
- All volunteers must attend a mandatory Orientation program
- DCSI Child Related Employment Screening required (at DCS expense)
- Drivers Licence
- Must be prepared to use Government vehicles when requested.
- Must be physically capable of performing the range of tasks associated with the role
