Keep in Touch Volunteer - Port Adelaide
The Home Detention Integrated Support Services Program (HISSP) Keep In Touch (KIT) volunteer position requires a person with strong communication skills. This poistion requires a confident phone presence, and strong attention to detail.
Days and times are negotiable
Main Responsibilities:
- making telephone calls in line with provided weekly call list
- accurate and timely entering information into the internal database
- keep accurate records of all interactions and attempted interactions as directed
- Alert KIT Coordinator or HISSP Team Manager of clients requiring additonal support
National Police Check is required
Required to sign a confidentiality agreement
Other requirements:
- non-judgemental attitutde
- empathy for people experiencing isolation, marginalisation and stigma associated with their offending history
