Mechanic
Faithworks Food Assist centre is located at Blair Athol. It is a Christian based, not-for-profit community service, that provides food and meals to those in need and the general public.
We require an experienced mechanic to service and maintain our vehicles, forklift and trailers that are used to collect supplies food for our food service program.
An opportunity also exists to supervise and train other volunteers in mechanical work.
Applicants must:
- Be honest
- Be friendly
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have experience in general mechanical service work
We can provide some basic tools to be used for this position but you are welcome to use your own tools as well.
Approximate hours per week needed for this position is 5 to 10 hours, depending on your availability.
If you need more hours we can increase your hours by giving you responsibilities in other areas of our programs.
