Duties:

• As a volunteer checkout operator you will be responsible for processing customer purchases at the till using our point-of-sale system.
• You will assist customers with enquiries and payments, ensuring transactions are accurate and pricing is correct.
• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area and providing friendly, respectful customer service are also key aspects of this role

Additional Requirements/information:

• We are looking for someone who is reliable and punctual, with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic numeracy and cash-handling ability are important, along with a friendly, patient, and approachable manner.
• Training will be provided on the point-of-sale system
• volunteers should be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

Days and times:

• Monday to Friday, negotiable.
• Centrelink requirements can be met
