Social Media Assistant

North East Community House Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing low cost social, recreational and educational programs to the community with a strong focus on disadvantaged persons and families. We are seeking individuals to join our small team of dedicated volunteers to help us reach our online potential.

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of social media trends and be confident in managing our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram. They will also be responsible for creating a new YouTube profile and TikTok account.

Days and times:  negotiable

Responsibilities include preparing a social media strategy, creating weekly content across all of our platforms, preparing and implementing campaigns.

The individuals must possess a sense of humour and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The ability to be flexible is essential as working remotely (from home) is encouraged.

Regular updates/reports are necessary and are to be provided to the centre management in person. Regular attendance at team meetings is also required.

Car parking is available and public transport is close by.
