Craft & Activities Assistant

The Volunteer Craft Assistant is responsible for assisting Beyond Blindness craft sessions, with other Beyond Blindness craft volunteers
Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist and support Members undertaking Beyond Blindness craft activities
- Assist other Volunteers involved in assisting with the program
- Report to the Beyond Blindness Member Services Assistant Coordinator of any program or related Member issues
- Adhere to all relevant Work Health & Safety Act requirements.
- Exercise a duty of care in relation to Beyond Blindness members.

- Ability to communicate effectively
- Empathy towards people with a disability
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Punctual and Reliable
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to recognise the difference between general and confidential information and to respect and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- An understanding of the Work, Health & Safety Act.
- Ability to work with limited resources.
- Experience/knowledge in various craft activities.
