Lutheran Care Delivery Assistant, Distribution Centre Blair Athol 

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic duo collecting and delivering stock to our Op Shops and customers?

Then we want you to join us as a Delivery Buddy Extraordinaire!

You’ll enjoy fresh air, friendly banter and constant changes of scenery, as you transport our sometimes weird but always wonderful Op Shop donations.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, our Volunteer Delivery Buddy role could be for you!

We have opportunities for volunteers to assist as Delivery Buddies in the Adelaide area. 

Travelling between our Blair Athol Op Shop Distribution Centre and sites in locations such as Norwood, Semaphore, Northern Adelaide and the Barossa Valley, the Volunteer Delivery Buddy works alongside our Delivery Driver to collect and distribute donations to our Op Shops and customers. 

How you can help

* Use your great sense of direction and confident skills to navigate delivery routes

* Pack the van efficiently using your creative problem-solving skills (Tetris world champions welcome!)

* Provide exceptional customer service

* Help with loading and unloading stock while enjoying some laughs and fun with your delivery partner

* You may also assist with picking up donations of pantry items for our Emergency Relief program and other ad hoc delivery job's

We have morning shifts available Monday to Fridays, 8.30am to 1.30pm. You choose the day that suits you

The Purpose

Our  Delivery Driver and Volunteer Delivery Buddy help keep our Op Shops stocked with high quality goods, to cater for families on lower incomes.

Sales also raise much-needed funds for Lutheran Care’s work with South Australians in crisis, including the Emergency Relief program.
