Heritage Education Program Assistant Volunteer
Our Cultural Services team is looking for a Heritage Education Program Assistant volunteer who will assist the Heritage Education Team to successfully deliver the education program at Buckingham House on either a Tuesday or Thursday.
The role includes helping run basic heritage activities with school aged children such as sewing, cooking damper, old fashioned washing, and a school lesson in the Old Wanneroo School House. Training will be provided.
The Heritage Education Program Assistant volunteer will be required on either a Tuesday or Thursday morning for a shift from 8:30am-12:30pm. Preferably to volunteer on a regular basis such as one shift per week or fortnight.
This role requires an interest in teaching children about local history, excellent customer service and confidence interacting with visitors
Both a National Volunteer Police Check and Working with Children Check will be required for this role however this will be organised and costs reimbursed from the Cultural Services team.
