Conservation Volunteering

Our conservation volunteers may be involved in a variety of conservation activities for a specific bushland reserve (or group of reserves), with the aim of improving the reserve’s biodiversity and conservation values and the community’s appreciation for natural areas.

Activities that volunteers might be involved in doing can include collection and disposal of any rubbish or littering, hand weeding to ensure control of weed flora species, guided nature walks, engaging the community and raising environmental awareness through conservation events such as spring planting, planting native flora at rehabilitation sites, monitoring of both flora (plants) and fauna (animals) and reporting vandalism or any other issues of concern.

We welcome new volunteers at all times.
