Parks and Recreation - Therapeutic Recreation Services

Therapeutic Recreation Services offers recreation programs for kids ages 3-12 with any disability. Each month staff facilitates a recreation day at the Recreation Center for participants and their families, and do one community outing with participants. Outings can vary but can include trips to the Zoo, Sea World, water parks, jumping parks etc.

Volunteers assist staff with safety and supervision of participants and work directly with participants to encourage them and provide a fun, safe and inclusive environment for all. Volunteers will also assist in the set-up, and break down of activities.
