Internship description: The intern will reside within the Security and Emergency Planning Section of the Employee Services & Quality Assurance Division and will be assisting in a knowledge management strategic initiative for the Public Utilities Department. This project will comprise a range of strategies to identify and document critical infrastructure protection and vulnerability assessments. In particular, this internship will primarily focus on the continued review of Security and Emergency Response Planning documents related to Department assets, and the evaluation/creation of relevant processes and policies as needed for the protection of critical infrastructure. We will seek individuals from local universities and community colleges who have interests in knowledge management, human resources, or fields related to the positions that are studied.
