Internship description: This is a great opportunity for those pursuing degrees in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, communication, and social work. The Family Justice Center works to stop family violence and provide long-term support for victims and children through victim centered wrap-around trauma information services. Interns help FJC staff by greeting clients and providing clients with an overview of the SDFJC process. Interns also assist staff with creating client services plans and providing follow up check-ins. Additionally, interns have the opportunity to work with and learn from Community Partners to support FJC clients.  

The building is located close to public transportation.

A Life Scan is required. No fee to applicants.
