Internship description: The Development Services Department, Local Enforcement Agency Division is requesting to hire one Management intern who will assist LEA inspectors in the field with landfill gas monitoring, handling equipment, data recording, and miscellaneous office activities. Interns have the opportunity to work on special projects for the LEA that may involve an analysis of state waste management regulations and policies, LEA program effectiveness, and current solid waste issues. These projects assist them with their education. The LEA has developed a strong working relationship with the University of California, San Diego Environmental Systems faculty and program staff as well as other universities in the region. These efforts provide mutual benefits for intern as well as an enhancement of the LEA program.
Interns must be currently enrolled in an academic program. Please select school name in application.
