Community Legal Centre - Volunteer Law Clerk

Are you a later-years legal student seeking experience and to support disadvantaged communities? 

Become a part of our passionate and committed team who work together to provide access to justice to the people who really need it most!

You will gain an understanding of the work undertaken by a community legal centre, and will have exposure to a wide range of legal areas including criminal law, family law, tenancy, and fines.

  • Assist with client intake and assessment
  • Be the first point of contact for all enquiries
  • Provide administrative and paralegal support to the team of lawyers and administrative staff

Time commitmentOne shift per week 9am-4.30pm for a minimum of twelve months

Training: On-the-job training provided.

Commences: ASAP or by negotiation for ideal candidate(s) for when suits - so enquire now!

Experience: must have completed 3 years of a law degree OR have previous work experience in the legal sector

Screening checks: A current Police Check (less than 6 months old) • Proof of ability to legally work in Australia
