Duration: June 30 - August 29, 2025
Volunteer Hours: 35 hrs/week (minimum 1 week commitment)

How you will contribute as part of the TRCA Volunteer team:
Imaginations come to life in the historic surroundings of The Village at Black Creek Day Camp. As a day camp volunteer you will help create summertime memories for children from ages 4 -12. We offer a variety of themes such as History Exploration, Plants & Animals, and Culinary Arts. This position is ideal for those who love working with children, enjoy the outdoors, want to learn new skills or gain experience in an outdoor museum setting.
What you will do as a volunteer:
- Engage campers with activities.
- Assist with set up and clean up of crafts and games.
- Assist camp counsellors with various camp related activities.
- Create at least one game or activity for the campers.
What will you need to succeed:
- Must be at least 15 years old as of July 2025.
- Some experience with young children
- Enjoy the outdoors
- Enjoy crafts & games
