Volunteers must attend ONE mandatory orientation session from the following options:

- Saturday, June 6th at 9:00am

How you will contribute as part of the TRCA Volunteer team:
Volunteers will gain hands-on gardening experience by tending to the Gallanough Park Pollinator Gardens.
What you will do as a volunteer:
- Remove weeds and invasive species from the rain garden to allow native plants to thrive
- Clear the garden of litter
What will you need to succeed:
- Passion for or knowledge of environmental topics, with a focus on local wildlife, native plants, and environmental conservation
- Native plant identification skills is an asset
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to learn
- Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older
- Experience with fieldwork and/or collecting data is an asset
