Adopt a Park (two-year commitment)

Are you at least 18 years of age and interested in organizing a group to collect litter in one City Parks for two years?

By keeping one of our Parks litter-free, your group will be recognized for helping us keep Mississauga’s parks clean and discourage littering. At the end of your first year, we will install a small recognition park sign with your group's name and at the end of your second year, you will be sent a thank-you certificate from the Mayor.

The Adopt–a-Park Program requires that volunteers schedule a minimum of six clean-ups per year for a total of two years. The City will support your group by providing gloves and garbage bags and provide instructions for collecting your filled litter bags after each cleanup.
