FASST Student Organizer
TASKS AND REPSONSIBILITIES:
- Help foster our new student group to become self-sustaining
- Prepare agendas and organize group meetings
- Help set goals for the group for the year
- Help organize and plan group activities, including working collaboratively with other service areas and student clubs on campus and external organizations
- Support the Faith & Spirituality Centre’s “The Kaleidosco pe P ro ject”; an interreligious and intercultural diversity program that brings together diverse groups of students from different religious, spiritual and secular viewpoints to work together to build a more inclusive and pluralistic community on campus and in Calgary
- Attend Peer Helper training and other relevant training sessions
- Other duties as assigned

COMMITMENT:
The Faith & Spirituality Student Team Organizer commitment is approximately 5 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Faith & Spirituality Centre is a dynamic group of people, with a variety of views and beliefs that seek to foster a student group that will help the FSC stay in tune with student needs and interests. The ideal candidate for Student Group Team Organizer:
- Previous experience planning events and activities considered an asset
- Is a highly organized individual who is able to work independently and with a team
- Has a creative passion for getting things done
- Is a self-starter, reliable and can complete projects from start to finish
- Has the ability to engage and encourage a group of peers
- Must be open and sensitive to those from a variety of faith traditions or from none at all
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
