Kennedy School CC Kids Summer Camp Counselor

Volunteers who enjoy working with kids, playing games, and having lots of fun should apply to be a CC Kids Summer Camp Counselor! By serving as a camp counselor, individuals help children between the ages of 4 and 10 play, explore, learn, and create through the many fun camp activities that the camp counselors will help to make a reality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with groups of up to 5 children, 1:1, and independently 
  • Organize and facilitate activities for groups of up to 5 students of varying ages and abilities 
  • Occasional 1:1 interaction with individual students 
  • Assist with monitoring students during recreational activities
  • Play!


  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must speak and read English
  • Interest in and enthusiasm to work with children with disabilities
  • Patient
  • Energetic
  • Able to sit or stand while working with students
  • Dependable - we want a camp counselor who will consistently show up for the kids 

Desired Skills, Experience & Characteristics:

  • Excited to follow directions and always willing to learn on the job
  • Experience working with children or people with developmental disabilities
  • Spanish-speaking skills would be an added bonus
  • CPR-certified
