What to Expect:

As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to engage in various tasks based on the needs of the centre. From general maintenance work to mowing, whipper snipping, and watering, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our grounds and ensuring they look their best. It's an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying the outdoors.

Skills and Characteristics We're Looking For:

  • Experience in gardening, handyperson tasks, or maintenance work. Please indicate your area of interest when applying.
  • Reliability, punctuality, organizational skills, and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, depending on the task.
  • Physical fitness is required, including the ability to lift up to 10kg when necessary.

When Can You Volunteer?

This is a flexible role with shifts available throughout the week, requiring a minimum commitment of 4 hours per shift. By dedicating your time, you'll make a significant impact on our cause.

Important Reminders:

Before handling animals at the RSPCA, please ensure you have an up-to-date Tetanus vaccination. Ensuring the safety of all is our priority.
