Foster Carer
RSPCA Queensland
Apply to become a foster carer
We are so excited to announce that it's even easier to become a foster carer! Our new and improved foster training takes just 1 Hour and can be completed in the comfort of your own home. We have also updated our processes to include a virtual property check that can even be done on weekends!
RSPCA Queensland, has animal care centres spread the length of Queensland and support animals across our state. Many of the animals that come into our care need the additional love and support found in a temporary home. With this is mind, many of the animals that are seeking foster care, have behavioural or medical needs that need to be supported.
In demand foster carers include (but not limited to):
- Medium to Large Breed Dogs
- Small breed dogs with medical or behavioural needs
- Adult Cats
- Families with no other pets or no young children.
