Role Overview
The Philanthropy Support Volunteer will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics of our supporter morning tea events. These events are vital opportunities to connect with bequestors, share the impact of their contributions, and strengthen relationships that sustain our programs and improve the lives of animals in our care. This position involves providing essential administrative and event management support, ensuring these events run smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics for supporter morning tea events, including:
  • Recording RSVPs in Salesforce.
  • Printing and mailing invitations.
  • Preparing name tags and event runsheets.
  • Collating brochures and information sheets.
  • Liaising with speakers and caterers to confirm arrangements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong administration skills with great attention to detail.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar databases (preferred).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Event management experience (desirable).

Training and Support
Volunteers will receive:
On-site training and supervision by the Philanthropy Coordinator and ongoing guidance to ensure confidence and effectiveness in the role.

Impact of the Role
This role is essential to the successful delivery of 28 supporter morning tea events across the state in 2025. These events enable us to showcase the impact of donor support while fostering deeper connections with our community. Bequests represent the largest revenue source for our organisation, directly enabling us to help abused, abandoned, and injured animals every year.


Location: Wacol (office desk provided) or Work From Home (WFH) option available
Time Commitment: Approx. 8 hours per week
