What to Expect

We seek a highly organised and motivated volunteer to assist our Learning & Development Manager with organisation and administrative tasks. This role also offers the chance to work on creating and developing learning content using industry-leading platforms and technologies. Candidates studying towards or possessing qualifications in Learning & Development, Business, or related fields are particularly encouraged to apply.

What are the Tasks?

  • Assist in the coordination and organisation of training programmes and activities.
    • Scheduling courses,
    • Preparing learning materials,
    • Handling registrations and attendance records,
  • Maintaining and updating learning management systems and databases.
  • Developing preliminary content for training modules.
  • Monitor the completion of mandatory training and update compliance levels.
  • Providing general support to the Learning & Development Team as needed.

What Skills and Characteristics Do I Need?

  • A background in or currently studying towards qualifications in Education & Adult Learning, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Business, or related fields.
  • Both written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating training materials, liaising with team members, and presenting information.
  • An ability to manage various tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and database management.
  • Basic skills in creating educational content, including slide decks, handouts, or e-learning modules, would be beneficial.
  • Ensuring all training materials, schedules, and communications are accurate and error-free.
  • A passion for education and development, both personal and for others, will make the role more fulfilling.

When Can I Volunteer?

  • We ask for a minimum commitment of one four-hour shift per week for at least three months.
  • Shifts are available between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
