Buckinghamshire Waste Busters

Further details about being a Buckinghamshire Waste Buster

The Buckinghamshire Waste Busters campaign is now actively seeking volunteers from all corners of the county who share a passion for recycling, composting, reusing, repairing, or reducinging food waste. We invite these eco-conscious individuals to share their expertise and knowledge with fellow community members.

Prior experience in waste management or public engagement is not a prerequisite, as we provide comprehensive training. Volunteers commit a minimum of 30 hours over the course of a year and can be reimbursed for any travel costs. The key requirements are living in or near Buckinghamshire, an ease in conversing with people, and a strong dedication to aiding the community in reducing the adverse environmental effects of improperly disposed waste.

The majority of volunteer activities involve engaging with the public at various regional events and conducting informative talks and workshops for schools and community groups. Volunteers have the flexibility to choose which events they'd like to participate in and even discover local initiatives or projects to support.
