Animal Welfare Volunteer
BARC provides feed, shelter, and medical treatment to animals who become lost, seized or surrendered. Be prepared to get dirty and fall in love! You will need to wear sensible work clothes that are suitable for outdoor weather.
Volunteer duties may include walking dogs, socialising cats, grooming animals, cleaning animal enclosures gardening, animal photography, administration support, and general maintenance. Shifts are of three hours duration.
BARC provides a temporary home for your lost pet. We also have a variety of cats and dogs available for adoption.
A successful Police and Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement for all volunteers.
Applicants need to be aged 16 years or over to Volunteer at BARC
