Living History Volunteer
A living history volunteer is one who wants to focus on portraying a person from the Puget Sound region in the mid-nineteenth century. The person portrayed should accurately represent the look, occupation, ethnicity, and lifestyle of someone who would have been associated with Fort Nisqually.
Fort Nisqually Living History Museum's Mission
Fort Nisqually volunteers support the museum's mission: To engage a diverse regional audience with the Puget Sound's first globally connected settlement through historic preservation, experiential learning and interpretation.
