Volunteer Opportunity: Help Bring Smiles at Our Bribie Island Aged Care Café!
Do you enjoy making a difference in your community, connecting with others, and working in a friendly environment? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help in our onsite café at Bribie Island Aged Care!
About the Café
Our café is a much-loved spot for residents, families, and staff, offering a welcoming space to enjoy a cuppa, light snacks, and great company. Currently, we’re only able to open two days a week due to a lack of volunteers. With your help, we can bring the café back to life more often!
Café Details
- Hours: Open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Days: Flexible options – even a few hours of your time can make a big difference!
- Location: Bribie Island Aged Care
What’s Involved?
You’ll work with one other volunteer in a cosy café setting to:
- Serve residents and visitors with warmth and care
- Prepare light snacks and drinks (including making coffees)
- Handle EFTPOS transactions
- Maintain infection control and food safety standards
What We Offer:
- Training in food handling, coffee-making, infection control, and EFTPOS usage

Requirements
To volunteer with us, you’ll need a current police check. Don’t worry if you don’t have one yet—we’ll arrange this for you!
