National Mill Dog Rescue

Education, Outreach & Events

This team helps with community and adoption events, which may take place at schools, businesses, or other public venues. Volunteers will represent NMDR by handling dogs of various sizes, answering questions about individual dogs and our mission, leading event activities, and modeling/teaching safe dog interaction skills. These events require active involvement, standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Mission Statement

The mission of National Mill Dog Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home discarded breeding dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.
