Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Attendant

Are you organized, friendly, and passionate about helping others? The Salvation Army seeks a dedicated Administrative Assistant / Front Desk Attendant volunteer to support our daily operations. This role ensures smooth office functions while providing a warm and welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and volunteers with a friendly attitude
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff
  • Assist with clerical tasks as needed
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk area
  • Support and assist with other administrative projects as needed
  • Follow confidentiality policies and uphold the mission of our organization

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Time Commitment:

  • Flexible shifts available Monday - Friday
