Front Desk Attendant
Position Description:
- Helping assist the staff of the Hope Center Shelter
- Answer telephones
- Direct phone calls to proper staff
- Answer basic questions
- Take messages when needed
- Any administrative tasks/needs:
- Send and receive faxes
- Organizing
- Etc.
Qualifications:
- A firm commitment to the Mission of The Salvation Army
- Good telephone skills
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Warm and friendly personality (good people skills)
Hours needed:
- 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Hours tailored to suit individual volunteers availability
- Monday through Friday
Atmosphere:
- A shelter for those who have hit hard times and are facing homelessness
