Kitchen Helper
Position Description:
- Help kitchen staff with meal prep
- Make bag lunch and dinners
- Wash dishes
- Stock chemicals and disposables
- Assist with general kitchen tasks
Qualifications:
- A firm commitment to the Mission of the Salvation Army
- Food preparation skills
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to stand for 1.5 hours at a time
- Good people skills
Hours needed:
- Weekdays:
- Monday through Friday
- 10 am to 3 pm
- Hours tailored to suit individual volunteers availability
- Weekends
- Call for availability of dates
Atmosphere:
- A shelter for those who have hit hard times and are facing homelessness
