MakerSpace Coordinator
PURPOSE
Provide a communication and administrative link between MakerSpace participants and Living & Learning Nillumbik and to give general support to the MakerSpace environment
LOCATION
Nominated Living & Learning Nillumbik centres or a community activity space
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and pack up each MakerSpace session
- Coordinate day to day MakerSpace activities
- Coordinate participant sign in and collection of gold coin donations
- Provide members with Living & Learning Nillumbik updates and information
- Monitor and ensure a safe working environment for all participants
- Provide feedback, ideas, issues or concerns to Community Program Coordinator
- Ensure a relief MakerSpace Coordinator if unable to attend all MakerSpace sessions
- Enter required data into the volunteer management database, myvolunteerpage.com.au
REPORTS TO
Community Program Coordinator/Centre Coordinator
TIME COMMITMENT
2-6 hours/week (dependent on the MakerSpace session)
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Able to problem solve
- Punctual and reliable
SUPPORT
Organisational induction training and specific task training will be provided. All Living and Learning Nillumbik volunteer supervisors provide an open door communication environment for volunteers encouraging any questions to be asked and concerns to be raised
