Phlebotomy Clinic Support Volunteer

Location: Stamford Hospital

Main Tasks:

Greeting patients in the entry area, checking to see that they have brought with them their blood forms (they will not be able to be seen without these and therefore we need to check beforehand). Explaining the waiting time. Asking patients to remove their coats and have their sleeve rolled up (where possible) before going in as this will save time spent with the clinician meaning waiting times will be reduced.
