Foster for Community Programs
Community Programs Foster – RSPCA NSW Sydney Adoption Centre, Illawarra, Hunter, Coffs Harbour and Central West shelters
RSPCA NSW believes people and their pets belong together. Become a Community Programs foster carer and support pet owners in times of crisis. Many factors include illness, a lack of accessible or affordable veterinary care, poverty and a shortage of pet-friendly housing is a reality. You will directly contribute to the decrease of animal surrenders to shelters and providing care to animals. You will be assisting those in aged care, domestic violence, and homelessness.
Upon signing up as a foster carer, if you choose to foster dogs and/or puppies, you will be required to complete our online Dog Behaviour and Transport training course. This will equip you with all necessary skills and valuable knowledge in dog behaviour and safe handling techniques.
