Our RSPCA NSW Tweed Heads Op Shop offers a range of clothing, home décor, kitchenware and so much more! As a general assistant, you will oversee all things customer service, aiding clients and managing retail. This role is suited to applicants who have a strong background in customer service and or retail, and want to make a difference for positive animal advocacy.

 

RSPCA NSW op shop volunteers have set shifts every week.

 

What are the tasks?

  • Maximising sales by providing helpful advice and assistance to our customers
  • Serve customers in the shop, processing payments using cash or the EFTPOS terminal
  • Sorting and organising merchandise for sale
  • Providing general cleaning to the store and its displays
  • Comply with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines
  • Understand and comply with RSPCA NSW policies and procedures, including the Confidentiality Agreement

 

What are the requirements?

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Previous retail experience welcome
  • Professional, positive and client oriented
  • Ability to lift over 10kg

 

Time Commitment

 

We’re looking for volunteers to help on Tuesday (8:30am – 4:00pm) and Wednesday (8.30am - 4:00pm) or Friday (8.30am - 4:00pm) and Saturday (9:00am – 3:00pm) every week.
