Goulburn Supporter Group - General Volunteer

 

Come and join our Goulburn Supporter Group and learn about the organisation and how we play a vital role. As a Supporter Group Volunteer, you can assist in roles that are frequently involved or on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. You will join a group of like-minded people and gain experience in fundraising while helping people and their pets in the community.  

 

What are some of the the tasks? 

 

  • Organising donations and preparing them for use at stalls/fundraising events.  
  • Coordinating with other volunteers regarding events and market stalls.
  • Understanding organisational information and promoting it to people interested.
  • Comply with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines.
  • Understand and comply with RSPCA NSW policies and procedures.
  • You will be invited to attend meetings to discuss important matters for the Branch or Supporter Group should you wish to join. 

What are the requirements? 

 

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Willing to gain understanding of RSPCA NSW or Charitable organisations
  • Ability to lift up to 10kg
  • Ability to follow direction, to work within a team and work independently (without supervision)
  • Strong verbal, reading and writing skills
  • Passion for interacting with people and animals
  • Positive attitude
