Our Behaviour and Rehabilitation Centre needs additional support and host programs which last for only a few days to longer-term stays, such “Doggy Day Outand Pillow Paws.

 

Upon signing up as a foster carer, you will be required to complete our online Dog Behaviour and Transport training course. This will equip you with all necessary skills and valuable knowledge in dog behaviour and safe handling techniques.

 

 

Which animals currently need fostering? 

 

  • Various sized dogs that require behaviour modification and socialisation 
     

What are the requirements? 

 

  • Be at least 18 years and over and each resident in your household must also agree to fostering
  • You must have a proven appropriate space or back yard for the animals to live in 
  • Access to your own transport in case of any emergencies
  • Stay in touch with our foster care team/shelter via phone and email
  • Must follow strict animal plans provided by the RSPCA NSW
  • Preferably no other animals unless you can keep them separated from your foster animal 

 

What is the recruitment process? 

 

  1. Review advertisement
  2. Submit your application with all relevant fields required (we may ask for photographic evidence of your dwelling space)
  3. Complete your online induction within 7 days
