Are you passionate about animal welfare and love helping your local community? Our Tweed Heads Op Shop is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join the team! We have a range of roles available including:

🛍️ Customer Service
🚚 Transport Drivers
📦 Sorting Donations
👕 Shop Floor Assistants

Whether you're a people person, love organisation, or enjoy being hands-on behind the scenes — there's a place for you here!

Please note this is not a hands-on animal role, but a great opportunity for those who understand how vital behind-the-scenes support is. Every shift helps fund our desexing and emergency vet assistance programs, directly helping animals and people in need.

We’re especially looking for volunteers who are confident opening and/or closing the shop, so if you're someone we can count on, we’d love to hear from you!

Time Commitment

We have vacancies every day excluding Sunday.  Shifts start at 8.30 and end at 4pm. Opportunities for full or half days available.

What is the Recruitment Process?

  3. Phone screen with our Tweed Heads Op Shop staff
  4. Attend an orientation day on-site  
  5. Complete your online induction within 7 days  
  6. Finalise your profile
  7. Attend a training session with our Tweed Heads Op Shop staff
