Community Volunteer Groups

Our Community Volunteer Groups (CVGs) play a vital role in helping us raise much-needed funds that directly support RSPCA NSW programs — including subsidised desexing and emergency vet assistance for people and animals in need.

As a CVG volunteer, you’ll help out at local fundraising events when it suits you — whether that’s cooking up a storm at a BBQ, helping set up a market stall, or having conversations with locals about animal welfare. There’s no ongoing commitment required, just a willingness to jump in when you can and be part of a supportive team of like-minded people making a real difference in their community.

What will you do as a CVG volunteer?

  • Help set up and pack down at local fundraising events like markets and stalls
  • Assist at fundraising bbqs and help raise vital funds
  • Provide friendly customer service and chat with locals about our work
  • Lend a hand with collecting donations and handling fundraising money
  • Share ideas and help shape future events and activities with the team

No experience necessary—just bring a great attitude and a love for animals!

What are the requirements?

  • Be 16 years and over
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare
  • Enjoy fundraising and a team player
