Residents' Shop Volunteer



Organisation Description:

Hydon Hill is a home (with nursing care), providing a range of services for adults with physical disabilities.


We are looking for volunteers to help run our Residents Shop.

The volunteers would be required to:

  • Obtain keys from admin/reception office.
  • Record items sold in notebook (for re-ordering purposes).
  • Use “Tab Sheet” to record payments owed by Residents.
  • Consult list for which Residents may run a tab.
  • Rotate/replenish stock.
  • Lock till/shutter/door.
  • Return keys to office.

Directions:  Hydons Hill is based in Godalming. Space for parking is available.

Expenses:  Relevant expenses will be paid

Training and Support:  Full induction and support shifts are available by our Volunteer Co-ordinator who will be on hand to support the volunteer as much as possible.

Recruitment method:  Informal interview. We require two references and also a DBS check, but this is done with our Volunteer Co-ordinator who will try to make application process as painless as possible.
