Design Research Assistant

Working alongside designers on the development of new products for young children. This role involves various research tasks including analysis of current safety regulations (including international standard documents) to highlight areas which designs must comply with. 

The role also involves sourcing suppliers and manufacturers for mechanical/electronic components, as well as obtaining quotes and estimates for comparison. 

This position requires a volunteer to commit to one day a week and may suit someone with an engineering/ design background or someone who would benefit from a work placement to support relevant studies.
