Editorial and Production Assistant
The Wey & Arun Canal Trust is a charity working to restore the Wey & Arun Canal through 
Surrey & Sussex. We are currently seeking a volunteer Editorial & Production Assistant to help 
us on a part-time basis.
This role provides vital support to the Communications team and main duties will include:
• Helping to produce quarterly membership publication (Wey-South) – working in 
InDesign to lay out stories and articles developed by the Communications team and 
other volunteers. This will also involve proof-reading, proposing edits and chasing 
contributions from article writers. 
• Helping to produce artwork for posters, signage and other materials used in external 
communications and site branding
We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and ideally with some prior 
experience with publications or newsletters. Hands-on experience in working in InDesign and 
Photoshop is ideally required but training can be provided to someone with general IT skills.
