Guildford Action

Arts, craft and activities tutors

We require people to tutor arts and crafts and activities such as yoga to our clients, so as to give them the opportunity of taking part in an activity while at our day service centre.

These roles will suit someone who is creative - you don't need teaching qualifications, just an ability to communicate your enthusiasm for getting on with practical creative projects. Materials for arts and crafts will be supplied.

Hour and times to suit.

Where: Beverley Hall in the centre of Guildford (near Waitrose).

Volunteers should be: aged 18 or over, outgoing, keen to engage with our clients, and have some understanding of our clients' needs.

Reasonable travel expenses will be paid.

Guildford Action is an independent registered charity, which has been working within the local community for over 30 years helping homeless individuals as well as isolated families.

Our mission is to ‘Enhance the lives of all those we come into contact with’. We have seen a massive increase in numbers of those accessing the projects over the past year due to economic climate and social welfare reforms.
