Parish of Badshot Lea and Hale

Toddler Group helper

LogoCould you help out at Little Lions' Play Den, the new toddler group at St Mark's Church, Upper Hale? It's run on Wednesday mornings in term time, 9.30-11am. You wouldn't need to come every week and if you can't do the whole time that is fine too.

St Mark's is on both the Upper Hale Road and Alma Lane and is on the 4 and 5 bus routes

We need people to help with any or all of the following:

Set up from 8.30am - mostly getting out toys and setting up tables for toddler craft;

Make tea and coffee for adults and prepare snacks for children, eg washing and cutting up fruit.

Help with simple crafts, eg  keep an eye on the children and chat to parents and carers.

Look at books/reading to children;

Keep an eye on children (note, parents and carers are there too and have primary responsibility;

Join in with singing;

Sign families in and out;

Chat to parents and carers.

Help clear up at the end.

The toddler group is run by the Parish of Badshot Lea and Hale, the Hale Family Centre, Hale Community Centre and Home-Start Waverley and is supported by Farnham Lions and Surrey County Council.

We can provide all relevant training, including safeguarding, and DBS checks. There will always be people present from the organisations running the group and they will take responsibility for the grup.

These volunteer roles are open to adults (18+)
