Mission Statement
Headway Surrey exists to support adults affected by acquired and traumatic brain injury, together with their families and carers, to rebuild their lives and move forward with greater confidence and independence.
We provide specialist, practical and person-centred support that helps people understand the effects of brain injury, relearn skills, develop strategies for everyday life and achieve the goals that matter to them. Through reablement, counselling, group activities, information, advice and support for families and carers, we aim to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and help people live as independently and fully as possible.
Our mission is to ensure that no one in Surrey has to face the challenges of brain injury alone.
