British Regional Transport Association

The English Regional Transport Association (ERTA) is an organisation dedicated to improving public transport.

To coordinate or head up the campaign/project to re-open the old Guildford-Cranleigh-Horsham railway which closed over 50 years ago.Much of the old track-bed survives and that line used to serve Cranleigh which is now without a railway and whose population is growing. It could be a conventional railway or light rail or preservation. Building a team, doing the homework, growing a network of support grassroots upwards and amongst professionals and elected representatives to orchestrate for moving the project forward to delivery.

The British Regional Transport Association (BRTA) is a voluntary membership-based, pro-public transport improvement association with several of its projects having a nationwide positive benefit and impact. Membership is open to all.
