Midhurst Mind Conservation Group
We need volunteers to help people with mental health issues engage in conservation activitieis e.g. gardening at Terwick for the NT or coppicing, pulling out ragwort and litter picking for the Grassham Down Trust.
This activities take place usually on Tuesday mornings in the Midhurst area. We pay reasonable travel expenses.
No experience is necessary but empathy is.
All our volunteers must be DBS checked, which we arrange..

As a mental health charity, we aim to promote mental health and wellbeing throughout the Coast West Sussex area.
Respecting individual needs and the rights of individuals to have control of their lives, we aim to empower people with mental health needs to be as independent as possible and help them to benefit from optimum support and activities in their community.
We are committed to challenging stigma and barriers in the community, for people with mental health needs.

- Build and maintain strong personal and social relationships.
- Enjoy positive community experiences.
- Achieve their personal and social goals.
