Sunday Afternoon Volunteer
Footsteps run a drop-in style service on Sunday evenings at Guildford's Beverley Hall (next door to the big Waitrose in the town centre). We are entirely volunteer run.
We serve guests who are rough sleeping, as well as other guests in need of a meal and some company. We provide a hot meal, sandwiches, biscuits and tea & coffee.
Our volunteers come and support a keyholder. They serve the food, make the teas and coffees and help clear down at the end. No experience is required but being able to work as a team is key.
We currently run between 4.30pm and 6pm on Sundays only.
We are especially in need of some male volunteers but would appreciate hearing from anyone. Volunteers must be over the age of 18. Thank you for your consideration.
