Young Healthwatch
Are you passionate about young people’s rights, health and wellbeing? Do you want young people to have a say in how the NHS and social care services they use are run, and make sure their views are heard and considered by decision makers?
Our Young Healthwatch Volunteers work to ensure that young people have a say in how NHS and social care services.
As a Young Healthwatch Volunteer you will be:
- Listening to young people about the services they are accessing and supporting us in feeding this information back to providers
- Creating information aimed at young people about Healthwatch Surrey
- Creating social media posts, videos, podcasts, posters, leaflets and more to advertise Healthwatch, promote any projects we have active and encourage more young people to have a say!
This role will suit someone who:
• Wants to learn more about how the NHS and social care system works, and how the patient voice is used to improve local services.
• Cares about the views and wellbeing of young people.
• Enjoys talking to people.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is organised and reliable.
• Is looking to gain confidence and experience to boost their CV.
